Terms of Service for SASYA

Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SASYA mobile application ("App") and our services. By downloading, installing, or using SASYA, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using SASYA, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are under 18 years old, please ensure a parent or guardian has reviewed and approved these Terms.

2. License and Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use SASYA for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

• Modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the App
• Copy, distribute, or sell the App or any part of it
• Use the App to build competing applications
• Attempt to bypass security features or authentication
• Use the App for illegal purposes or to violate applicable laws

3. Plant Identification Results

SASYA uses artificial intelligence to identify plants. While we strive for accuracy, identification results are provided "as-is" and should not be relied upon for:

• Medical or health-related decisions (e.g., consumption, allergies)
• Legal or regulatory compliance
• Scientific research without manual verification
• Pest control or agricultural decisions without professional consultation

If you need accurate plant identification for critical purposes, please consult a botanist or agricultural expert. We are not liable for incorrect identifications or decisions made based on SASYA results.

4. User-Generated Content

Any plant scans, notes, tags, or other data you create in SASYA remain your property. You retain all rights to your content. By using SASYA, you grant us permission to:

• Store your content on your device (encrypted)
• Display your collection within the app
• Process your data to provide features (e.g., stats, badges)

We will not share, sell, or use your content for any other purpose without your explicit consent.

5. Camera and Permissions

SASYA requires camera access to identify plants. You must grant camera permission from your device settings. You can revoke camera access anytime, which will disable plant identification features. We do not store or transmit camera images.

6. Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SASYA and its creators are not liable for:

• Incorrect plant identifications
• Loss of data due to app crashes or device failures
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Decisions made based on app results
• Interruptions in service

7. App Availability and Updates

We may update or modify SASYA at any time. Updates may:

• Add new features or improve existing ones
• Fix bugs or security issues
• Require you to update the App to continue using it

We reserve the right to discontinue SASYA or features at our discretion.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use SASYA for illegal activities
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Attempt to access unauthorized parts of the App
• Spam or post malicious content
• Violate intellectual property rights

9. Intellectual Property

SASYA, including all code, design, graphics, and functionality, is owned by SASYA ("Creator"). The plant identification models are based on YOLOv8 technology and TensorFlow Lite. All rights are reserved except where explicitly licensed under open-source terms.

10. Privacy

Your use of SASYA is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand our data practices.

11. Disclaimers

SASYA is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that:

• The App will meet your needs
• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Plant identifications will be 100% accurate
• The App will work on all devices

12. Third-Party Services

SASYA uses open-source libraries including:

• Ultralytics YOLOv8 (detection)
• TensorFlow Lite (classification)
• Flutter Framework (UI)
• SQLCipher (encryption)

These components are governed by their respective licenses. We are not responsible for their operation or updates.

13. Modification of Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the App or via email. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to SASYA if you violate these Terms or engage in prohibited conduct. You may uninstall the App and delete your data anytime.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable local laws. Any disputes will be resolved through negotiation or arbitration as permitted by law.
